Print confirmation arms the batch.
Planned batches are configured at headquarters: value range, quantity, validity, channel. Only when the print shop confirms the finished delivery does the batch go live in SUMWARE and become redeemable at the POS. No unprinted vouchers in circulation, no gap between ordering and activation.

Classic gift cards, loyalty vouchers, employee discount allowances and B2B customer terms are all managed on the same Voucher Server, with dedicated rules per program on one shared backend. No graveyard of point solutions, no duplicate master data.
- Redemption online and in store
Bought online, redeemed in store. Or the other way around.
Vouchers live in a single pool shared by your web shop and your store network. Customers redeem online what was issued in store, or vice versa: balances and the store lock apply across channels in real time, with no synchronization lag.
- Digital partner handoff & invoicing
Partners get the codes. Accounting gets the invoice.
Bulk batches for distribution partners, corporate customers or promo collaborations are handed over digitally: as CSV, API delivery or PDF. The matching invoice (XRechnung / ZUGFeRD) is generated in the same transaction and passed on to accounting, fully digital from end to end.

Validity periods are controlled centrally: per voucher type, per batch or individually per customer. Extend, block, change retroactively: all from the back office, without touching the POS and without an integration project.
- Returns as customer credit
Store credit instead of cash. The customer stays.
On returns, the amount can be credited back as a virtual customer voucher, tied to the customer number and instantly redeemable online and in store. The money stays in the store, and the customer stays with your brand.
- Four-eyes approval

Whoever triggers a value-relevant action (generating a batch, approving a bulk order, revoking a voucher) is never the one who approves it. Maker-checker as standard, with a configurable value limit per role.
- Tamper-proof audit chain
Every action. Chained. Immutable.
Every API call lands in a hash-chained audit trail. Nothing can be altered after the fact without breaking the chain. Auditors spot gaps at a glance.
- Balance check with store lock
Check the balance, and lock it for the POS.
A balance check in the store locks the voucher to that store for a few minutes. Simultaneous online redemption is ruled out before the receipt is even printed.
- Partial redemption
Redeem a part. Keep the rest.
Vouchers can be redeemed for any partial amount; the remainder stays on the voucher until the next purchase. No leftover-balance voucher, no manual bookkeeping, no lost cents.
- Loss, theft, reissue
Lost? The remaining value moves to a new voucher.
Lost or stolen vouchers are revoked and the remaining value is transferred to a new voucher: a clearly documented procedure, fully traceable in the audit chain.
- Developer portal & public API
Other systems hook themselves up.
OpenAPI 3 spec with Swagger UI in the browser, a Postman collection and code samples in several languages. POS vendors, e-commerce adapters and CRM integrators connect to the Voucher Server without you having to manage the project.
