Trade fair

# Alles für den Gast 2026. *Hall 2, stand 02-0118.*

When it comes to ordering, your guest trusts their AI assistant more than the waiter. At our kiosk, that assistant gets to place the order. From 7 to 10 November at Messezentrum Salzburg we show how that looks, together with the kitchen display, the AR menu, the waiter app and SUMWARE POS. Everything runs live.

[Reserve a time at the stand](mailto:alex.weber@retail-butlers.at?subject=Alles%20f%C3%BCr%20den%20Gast%202026%3A%20meeting%20at%20stand%2002-0118) [What to expect →](https://sumware.at/en/news/alles-fuer-den-gast-2026/#expect)

## Your guest already carries a nutrition advisor in their pocket.

Claude or ChatGPT on their phone knows their allergies and intolerances, knows they skip meat in the evening and cannot stand cilantro. They explain all of that to the waiter at every table and hope it reaches the kitchen that way. Their assistant heard it once.

At our self-order kiosks, that assistant gets to order. The guest shows it the code on the screen, says what they feel like in their own language, and watches every line appear on the kiosk. The assistant reads your menu with its allergen notes and suggests only what suits this guest.

Personal data stays with the guest. The conversation runs on their phone with their own assistant, and only the order reaches you. The guest needs no account and no new app, and you pay for no AI. The guest brings it along.

At the stand

## What to expect at the stand.

Three kiosks along the back wall, a standing table with the POS, the waiter app and the kitchen display. Everything runs live, and you operate it yourself.

- ### The guest's AI assistant orders

Open Claude or ChatGPT on the phone, scan the code on the kiosk and say what you feel like, in your own language. Every line appears on the kiosk. When something is unclear, the kiosk asks back, and the guest answers in the chat or taps the screen. Payment is by card at the terminal, as always.
- ### Accessible under the EU Accessibility Act

One tap on 'controls down' brings the whole interface within reach of a seated guest. A guest with low vision scans the QR code and steers the kiosk from their own phone, with four arrow keys and OK. The phone reads the menu aloud through their own headphones. The kiosk needs no keypad and no speaker for this, and the guest never touches it.
- ### Kitchen display and pickup screen

Every order lands at the right station, with a target time per dish. The batch view adds up identical dishes across all open orders: five orders with burgers become twelve burgers at a glance. When everything is ready, the pickup screen calls the number, as a pixel kitchen if you like. A kitchen without a screen gets the ticket from a printer.
- ### AR menu

The printed menu stays. The guest holds their phone over it and sees the dish names in their language on top of the paper. A tap on the (i) explains the dish in ten languages, with a note on pork and alcohol. A tap on the line orders it.
- ### Waiter app and mobile POS

Orders go from the phone straight to the kitchen displays, with no detour to the counter. The table overview shows in color where guests have ordered, been served and paid, and which table just called. The bill is settled at the table; the mobile POS runs on Orderman devices.
- ### Table ordering and reservations

Guests order by QR code at the table, without an app. Several phones at one table order together, each seat on its own. Reservations come in online with a code and a status link; the calendar sits in the cockpit, on the kitchen display and in the waiter app.
- ### SUMWARE POS

Billing runs through the RKSV-certified SUMWARE POS with its own server on site. When the internet drops, you keep selling. SUMWARE runs on the hardware you already have.

With your own phone

## Try it at the stand.

All you need is the assistant you already have on your phone.

1. ### Open Claude or ChatGPT

On your own phone, with your own assistant. You need no account with us.
2. ### Scan the code on the kiosk

Say what you feel like, in your language. Every line appears on the kiosk, and the kiosk asks back when something is unclear.
3. ### Watch the kitchen display

The order arrives at the right station, with its target time. The pickup screen calls the number.
