SUMWARE is endlessly extensible. The building blocks below are the standard repertoire that works right out of the box. Industry logic and customer-specific features are added in the project, through hooks, configuration and the extension framework, without ever touching the core.

- ### Sales & Returns

  Complete sales cycle with multi-item cart, quantity editing and same-day returns.
- ### Payments

  Cash, card (EFT terminal integration), vouchers, coupons and split payments, all on a single receipt.
- ### Customers & Loyalty

  Customer lookup, new accounts, address changes, linking the customer to the transaction. Business customers and loyalty programs included.
- ### Promotion Engine

  Rule-based promotions: percentage, fixed amount, buy N pay M, bundle deals. Configurable without touching code.
- ### Store Transfers

  Stock movements between stores with shipment tracking, delivery notes and printing on A4 or receipt paper.
- ### Fiscal Compliance

  Pluggable fiscal partners, SCU connectivity and signed receipts, aligned with the regulations of each market.
- ### AML Compliance

  Mandatory ID checks for cash payments of €3,000 or more under the German AML Act (GwG) and the EU AMLR, built right into the workflow. Captured personal data is public-key encrypted and can be decrypted only by tax auditors or on police request.
- ### Fraud Detection

  Acoustic fraud detection at the register: the service listens and detects whether anyone spoke (cashier, customer, both or nobody) without recording a single word. Silent cash refunds and dual-control gaps get flagged. GDPR-compliant, because only a 0/1 pattern of the last 180 seconds is stored.
- ### End-of-Day Closing

  Cash counting, paid-ins and paid-outs, end-of-day procedures with a detailed report.
- ### Printing

  Thermal receipt printers and A4 PDF generation, with real-time printer status right in the POS.
- ### Stock Overview

  Cross-store inventory visualized on an interactive map. Availability at a glance.
- ### Home Delivery

  Capture and validate the delivery address and hand the order to delivery routing, straight from the receipt.
- ### Customer-Facing Display

  Dedicated second-screen view for the customer-facing display. Receipt preview, QR code for the digital receipt, advertising, signature on screen, customer engagement.
- ### Multilingual

  German, English, Turkish, Polish, Slovenian, Romanian, French, Italian, Ukrainian, Croatian, Spanish, Portuguese. Add any language through configuration files.
- ### Custom Branding

  Menus, buttons and message boxes are customizable and swappable at runtime. The POS runs in your own branding, no rebuild, no redeploy.
